No More Guest Entries

When we first put together this submission platform, we weren’t quite sure how people would respond to it.
It’s always tough to build something when you’ve got such a wide user base to consider. We knew that making it members-only would be the easiest option, and we never had any intention of charging for that membership, so it seemed like the right choice. But, we didn’t want to impose anything on our entrants, so we opted to include a guest submission feature as well, just in case.
Now, six months on, after an overwhelming show of support for our platform and user dashboard, we’ve decided to remove the guest entries option entirely, streamlining the process greatly!
Those who have already submitted as guests will still receive their feedback as normal, although should you wish to sign up now, or have since signed up, you can get in touch, and we’ll be able to link your submission to your account so you can view your entry in your dashboard.
We really believe in our system, and we’re glad you do, too! If you, however, don’t want to register for a free account prior to submitting, then please do reach out to us at email@example.com and we’ll do everything we can to accommodate and reassure you.
We’re in talks with other competition hosts and websites, and are intent on integrating 3rd party opportunities into our system in the future, and as such, your membership will give you access not only to our competitions, but to lots of others too! All of your placements and entries will be viewable in your dashboard, centralising your competition career. We really want to make Grindstone a hub for writers to visit and enjoy for the future, and your support thus far has been both immeasurable and invaluable.
